It's been nearly 3 months I'm back home from UK.
Last time I was in Malaysia, summer 2010. (2years tak balik Malaysia) Sure, a lot of things I've missed.For example, the existence of coconut shake, pearl(the topping you put in your drink), and route LRT at KL is exactly like Tube in London which is much easier!

I still remember, 2009, I asked my classmate how to go to MARA Building in KL. I noted every single detail he said. Take STAR from here to here and then change to monorail from here to here, go to another station, so I need to cross some roads. Serious agak gelabah masa kat Masjid Jamek sebab kena tukar station. =_="

InsyaAllah, I'm go start working at KL this November. Accommodation is quite an hassle cause I need to find friends and a place near LRT. Kalau jauh ada kemungkinan jalan sorang2 which is quite dangerous. Plus, I don't have a car to drive from house to LRT. Getting more worried when I read a kidnapping case happened in daylight and at bus stop =( If bus stop yang tengah2 jalan pun ada kes, bayangkan lorong jalan kaki....

I'm just hoping everything going to be fine and safe for me. Praying hard that Allah will give me the strength and braveness to deal with all these. Aminnnn 

Phone interview

 I was thinking to write about it. Because I like it. =D

Basically, the interviewer(let say I call him TI) can't see my face and I don't have to travel for 2 hours to go to KL(there is where most offices located, 4 hours if it's a day trip T_T ). Sometimes, I even make why-I-answer-it-like-that-faces after I answer the questions. Not a great part, I sit at my frontyard for the phone  interview instead in my room(I need big space and air). So, vehicle sound interrupted the interview sometimes.LOL

TI called me at 6:30pm and at that time I was organizing the laundry. He said he's from ** Bank. He asked me if I'm available for a phone interview. Of course I said I'm not free and I asked him to call me tomorrow. Plus, it was late(what time is their working hour btw =_= ).

On the next day, he called again. He asked:

• tell me about yourself
• why should we hire you
• other than malay and english, what other language can you speak (thought of korean language but naaa...I'm not good enough to put it in my CV so I said nothing else =D )
• why do you pick us
• are you willing to work in shift
• what is your career plan
• how long are you willing to work with us
• what will make you resign earlier

One thing for sure, he said, "Good"  most of the time after I answered his questions. It's either just a common comment or I gave him good answer. I'm sure it's the first one...

Other than asking, he explained a little bit bout the position he's offering me and the benefit I will get. He said on the spot at the interview, I passed. Unfortunately, I have to turn it down(to go for face to face interview) cause I got a better offer and I could learn more from the other company.

The whole conversation took about 11 minutes. It's a great experience, going to lots of interview makes me more natural in answering interview questions.

A bank with great service ^^

    It has been 3 years since I open a bank account for myself (I talked like I have to open an account every month =p ). Well, the last time I did it when I was in UK. I have to cause it is for my sponsor to bank in my allowance etc. Today, I opened a current account at Bank Islam. Why Bank Islam? Well, I'm interested in the bank. I read couple of articles about it and I decided to be part of it. Hehe... I'm now a customer there and I wish to be in its management too =D Please..please... give me a feedback... Ya Allah, I hope I'll be one day =)

    Alhamdulillah, I opened the account in 45 minutes (too long, I know). It supposed to be closed in 15 minutes when I reached there. The Abang Guard looked at the time(try to estimate if they have enough time to process my application) before handing me the forms. Luckily, he handed me the forms =D

   After I finished filling in the forms, there were few errors and everything. Eg: failure of sccanning my thumb prints(few times I changed my thumbs for scanning), invalid data. Well. everything is just IT/computer error. I feel guilty because even at 4.30pm (closing time), the staff still trying to finish it. I feel grateful for not asking me to comeback later. I don't really mind actually if they ask me to cause I got nothing to do at home (Well, other than chores). The staffs still smiled and cheerful even I finished opening my account at 5pm. Big applause for the great service! ^^

 
  By the way, I opened LLoyds TSB bank account when I was in UK. It got Islamic bank account ^^  recommend it to anyone who is going to open one in UK. Even when other banks got problems, like no money transfer in couple of weeks(it happened 3 months ago), Lloyds totally haven't been effected by it. ;) Luckily, I got my allowance on time =D

 

 

Interesting chat

I miss my maknae(youngest),Walin so much. The last time she was home, 2nd Sept (she need to get back to her boarding school which is just 5minutes away from home =p ). But after 3days she went back to her school, I started missing her, I miss her existence in our home. Teasing, playing, pinching etc... I thought could meet her last week(during her outing) unfortunately, her school got cuti ganti last week so no outing.  ;(  Finally I got to meet & spend time with her today and this whole weekend. yeay!

A night that full of siblings' jokes....:

Just now, I had fun chats with my other siblings. From KLCC, Dubai tallest building with moving floor, silver, loan, investment, science, movie, Lee Chong Wei. My younger brother read a quote from the front page of Lee Chong Wei book, Dare To Be A Champion which he just bought yesterday. "Jika kita berani menonton filem, kita juga perlu berani membaca buku terutama Sejarah (PMR)". Well, it's supposed to be "Jika kita berani menang, kita juga perlu berani menerima kekalahan". My brother just playfully changed the quote to 'motivate' my 2 younger sisters for their coming PMR.

The chat are supposed to be with 3 siblings(me,arep,alin) cause the broken-leg-sister decided to watch a Thai movie, A Stupid Thing Called Love, it is a great movie and I can relate the scenes with my school life LOL . Back to the living room...3 of us playfully joking around and sometimes, the broken-leg-sister menyampuk in the 'discussion' and not really watching the movie. 

*roughly*

Us: "Ah, tak payah, tak payah, stop je la tengok movie tu, sibuk je" LOL

Her: "Orang tengok la"

Me: "Skip kan? Tengok la betul2" (cause I want her to feel the movie HAHAHA)

Her: "Mana ade skip"

Me: "nak akak tanya ke apa scene tadi?"

Her: *grinning with her sepet eye*

One of the interesting conversation...

Walin told us about how KLCC was build, the jejantas that won't supposed to be built at first,etc. At the end of her KLCC story telling, "Apela akak ni, Alin tahu tau. Akak tak tahu pon". Guess what my reply..."Okay, macam mana nak kira insurans?" LOL Wahidah! To a 14-years old kid?! I'm so childish =_= She coolly replied, "Alin belum belajar lagi la.."

And of course, the end of the whole conversation, we started teasing maknae and she walked away, don't have enough energy to 'fight' us. =p And tomorrow, I'll start pinching her again =p

Going to night market with maknae was so interesting; running back to our car after rushing buying the foods cause dad was gonna use car to pick up my brother.

Sometimes, there's up and down. Adik-beradik kottt. Air dicincang tak akan putus =D

I wish that we, us will forever be together and happy. Aamiinn.

The past

Setahun lalu, still duduk kat UK. My senior friends moved on(went back to Malaysia for good), I seriously need couple of months to get over that. Pergi ASDA, tesco sama2. Keep texting each other during class(no good =p ), well only when the lecture get bored. Hahaha.

Now, I've been back here(Malaysia) for good. It's been about 2 months. It's different between the people who is leaving and the people who is staying. From my experience, me as The Stay akan ada memori 'tempat': 1) Lalu Woolf College, ingat slalu gather ramai2 kat bilik aunty. 2) Lalu westgate road bus stop, ingat perkampungan 3 rumah Malaysian girls yang meriah everytime buat event. 

Plus, feel the absence a lot~  Those memory was too sweet till it harms me. Macam makan dessert banyak sangat sampai kencing manis =p So keep telling myself, "Move on Wahidah, just one more year".

As The Leaving, I always been occupied with a lot of stuffs here. So..., tak banyak sangat rindu UK? I'm not sure, things are just so different here and there. I think I miss British's level of manners. Macam dengan langit dan bumi =_= Hard to admit but it's the truth. I'm not saying I have the best manners in Malaysia, I doubt that. 

Okay la, pasal pegangkan pintu untuk org belakang tu is great. Dear Malaysians, kenapa suka tolak2? I experienced this at Mydin, in a queue. It's not even pack but he person behind me just pushed me. I'm totally sensitive tentang issue tolak-menolak ni. Then, I faced to my left so I can see her a bit. She still pushed me. Grr. Tolong laaa. Orang yang tengah bayar kat cashier tu takkan makin cepat if you push me. I would like to say something to her but I just let it slipped away. I told this, politeness to my dad and he said to marry a British guy. =_= LOL

I still  remember when I first had my grocery shopping at ASDA, as the person leaving... I miss to do grocery shopping with her. Look for parking, grocery shopping, load the stuffs into the car. I miss a lot of stuff back home(Malaysia)

InsyaAllah, I know all those happened to me, it's a lesson for me. Alhamdulillah, for all experiences making me to a more mature person..

Cannon

Suddenly, I heard cannon sound. Luckily not loud enough to make me fell down the bed. But you know what, the first thing that popped up in my mind when I heard the , The Hunger Game ; a tribute fall. I have to say it, it's a really great movie.

Heard that the sequel is coming next year~ yeay!

It really make me feels what happen to the world lately, too much reality shows. Yup, it's so 'real' because everything happens according to the The Gamemaker(aka the producer). Drama~ Well that's why we watch the shows.

The show will stop if everyone stops to watch. Fullstop.

Jom la tengok funny game show like Wipeout (ironically, I don't watch it because it seems violent, I blame the realistic sound effect =p ). LOL

Funny moment: adik baru balik from Egypt for holiday. First day bawak kereta(malam,kat lorong xbyk kereta), tetibe ikut lorong kanan. At first ingat dia saje nak shortcut, tetibe dari jauh ade kete datang. My dad & I was like, "Weh,kiri..kiri" Luckily sempat. Adik said, "oh lupa jap,kat sana dah biasa bawak motor sebelah kanan" We just shaked our head =_=

Selamat Hari Raya

Raya tinggal dalam 20hari. Nak puasa 6~~ Oh,before tu kena qada puasa dulu...I agree with puasa sunat & puasa wajib/qada diasingkan after reading few articles about puasa.

If orang ajak makan2 or jemput kenduri, kita tak patut puasa and turn up at the majlis. (the host will feel bad. Been there~)
Pastu, kalau orang ajak, kita wajib terima undangan.

So kena berhati-hati agar hubungan sesama kita terjaga

Duit raya?I admit I still got duit raya this year even I'm turning 23 this October (*ehemm) plus I finished my studies. Segan nak terima duit2 raya tapi dah rezeki Allah bagi. Alhamdulillah =D

A talented girl

She is Najwa Latif  ^^

I first know this name,3 weeks ago. Well, that day, my younger sisters watched MukaBuku Najwa Latif at Astro Ria. Tak tau nak tengok apa kat tv(dah lama gak tak tengok tv), so tengok je la ape orang lain tengok. It was the episode where she competed in AJL(I guess it's a rerun). She called her friends before she dressed up/make up. Chatting dengan friends dia kejap bla bla bla..pastu(roughly from what I remembered)

NL: awak, kita trending kat twitter.
Friend: wa untung la orang tu.
NL: tak la, kita trending sebab orang tak suka kita
Friend: *try pujuk

A 17 years old has to deal with haters =_= perghhh.

Lesson: Most of the time we forgot that everything we write/say might hurt some people. So, think before we talk/write something.

Sedih jugak tengok orang share gambar kat fb/twitter/blog making fun of people like Just**, Dati* Rosm**etc. No matter how much you hate that person, they don't deserve that kind of treatment. Why don't you try other ways to make people laugh?


Back to Najwa Latif, masa tengok Astro tu dengar suara dia cakap je la kan. Pastu one day dalam kereta, dengar radio,

"~~buat ku rasa kosong~~..kosong~~~"

rupa-rupanya lagu and suara dia. Totally different! She has a great singing voice =)

Start

I need to start writing back. The fact that I'm easily distracted, it's not encouraging me to write.
Need to start  focusing and plan my life.

Many things keep bothering my mind lately, ini semua ujian Allah. HE wants to see how I handle stuffs, HE wants to know if I'm still put HIM in my top list etc.

Packing for shipping

Ya Allah, leaving Canterbury is harder than I thought. It's not just about leaving the place, the people or student's life....it's also about preparing myself for my 'next life'.

Okay, actually I'm in the middle of packing my stuffs for shipping (I need to finish it by today)
Bila nak masukkan pillow 'WZ' from Aneesah, WZ Emirates' pillow by Deeb and teddy bear from Rje... I just realised I'm going to leave UK less than a week!

Now, bila pandang Academic Calendar (I hang it on the wall, in front of my study desk)...a year has passed..my final year...
Ya Allah, I'm so thankful to You for everything, not just my 3 years in UK, including my 22 years 9 months life.

Okay, the day that my result is going to be released is actually the day when I'm going to bring my parent around London. Seriously, I don't know how I'm going to check my result. Handphone tak secanggih iphone, not sure if it can open SDS aka Student Data System. If not, I'll probably visit nearest Apple store (pinjam ipad ke macbook kejap =p  )

Post-exam

Many interesting things happened for the last 15 days. Alhamdulillah~ (Huh?!) I cannot believe my last paper was just 15 days ago. I heard, time passes so fast when you are having fun.


First, 6 days trip to Greece! The place is so beautiful (and hot)! =D Overload sunburn~~ Shades and sunblock are must-bring-items!

Acropolis, Athens

I went to Athens and Santorini part. Athens is a bit modern, looks like Malacca or Bukit Bintang(my friends said so). I love Acropolis, the building and everything is awesome. Listening to their history(or should I call it myth?) about their Greek God is interesting. Well, I'm a person who loves ancient Rome and Greek architecture =)

    Santorini is really beautiful. Feels like I want to live there. All houses and buildings are white colour, it makes me feel calm and relax. My friends and I want to watch the sunset there, unfortunately the clouds blocked the view. We even sat at a cafe and ordered dessert to enjoy the view. 

  We also went to Volcano, Red beach and Black beach.

   The food are delicious(according to my friends because I don't eat seafood). They had octopus, sea brim, snapper, sea bass while I had margarita pizza and Greek salad. Greek salad is so yummy! They have feta cheese in it! (I'm a cheese lover btw)

     After the trip, came back to home sweet home Canterbury, Kent. Rested for a day and met friends in London. Plus, we had cooking session, tomyam! I missed them so much. So, we decided to walk around London, went to Chelsea and Arsenal Stadium. We even had sushi buffet. It's just them while I had KFC. (KFC at Camden Town serves halal food)

    Aida and Nana Rumet visited us at Kent. 5 days is packed to entertain these VIPs. Ashsord Designer Outlet, scones, movies, chatting. They still have 2 years to go. All the best, medic students! =)

   Then, Aunty Azmah also came here. My housemates and I are so happy! She brought to many Malaysian food like kek lapis and bahulu for us. Love you Aunty! =D

   A month left! ^^

I put my bag in bag store(no bag allowed in exam hall)

Suddenly orange table wasn't put on the table by the invigilators. (we supposed to have them, it contains formula etc). Actually, there was a mistake. Luckily, they noticed that and give it to us before the exam start. Fuhh~~~ Susah kot nak hafal Black-Scholes Model. Hahaha..

After I finished the exam, took part in psychology study held by a PhD student. I got paid for it, 3 pound. It's interesting even it took bout 20 min (too long I guess). Then, went shopping. Teehee =p

Actually, I'm having mix feeling ......

Done with my final exam paper for my degree! (hopefully no fail paper, no resit, the last paper is the toughest one though) =(

I'm happy and grateful that everything is over, but still worried. Now, praying and tawakal to Allah is the only way. Believe in Him, He knows the best for me ^^

The End & The Beginning

The End:

Alhamdulillah~ End of lectures of my degree.

I'll have to say that my most of interesting lecturers are my 3rd year lecturer. Funny and try to loosen up the lectures, not so much stress. Of course the subjects are tough but, they make me see the interesting part and never lose hope on those subject :)))

Not too much surprise(maybe because I was tired). Surprisingly, I don't feel sad. Last lecture - just nouns, I guess. Actually I feel more nervous as that means, final exam is coming in 1 month!

I'll remember

There are crucial times. Not knowing what to do. What to not do. What to choose.

It's hard when you keep going with flow and at one point, you need to decide. Feels miserable.

Feels like doing NOTHING! Nothing at all. But every seconds counts. Earth is still moving~

Feel blessed with friends that keeps being by my side. (even not literally)
They tell me what's the real world is. How to deal with it. Listening even not knowing what to say.

Now, I know why Allah separate me & my friends apart('distance-wise').

Sometimes, my friends and I don't usually keep in touch a lot. Du'a for your friends is more meaningful(you still remember them and keep praying for their success)

Feels more guilty towards MOZAC friends. Many of them I haven't keep in touch. Well, I tried once but it feels awkward. Hahaha. Maybe because it has been a long time and dah tak keep up with their life (I doubt that looking at the their fb timelime means you are actually keep up with them) =.='

Allah is the decider.

Allah doesn't look at the result, Allah looks at our effort! Never forget that WZ~

I thought I haven't post for a month. I'm wrong, it's actually just 24 days. Dude, need to make more post! (such a forgetful person la WZ ni~~)

I must make a post bout this!MUST! Okay, actually you guys know bout 'this'. I put it as my post title already. Hehe.

FINAL ALL ENGLAND AT BIRMINGHAM, 11 MARCH 2012

I put so many pictures here as eye candy. The post is too long(for me), so the picture will make it less boring(I guess?)

Before this, I only watched badminton matches from TV. Finally! I watched it live from the stadium!!! (Now, I'm missing home more. Wanna play badminton with my siblings at our frontyard like old time)

Canterbury to London to Birmingham-by train-it's packed with people! When I saw Malaysian in the same train with me, I knew that they actually going to Final All England too ^^

My seat is great! Near the court!(totally worth it even I bought it 3 months earlier & double the price of last minute ticket)

1- Women Single 2- Mixed double(Indonesia won against Denmark) 3- Women double

These 2 matches are the highlights!

4- Men Double (Korea vs China)

Speed, rally, teamwork, everything! Korea Men Double is seriously awesome! Yongdae & JiSung are great badminton player. Fuh, I couldn't let my eyes off the match even for a second! I cheered very hard for Korea team(there are so many China supporters). "Oppa fighting!!", "Oppa boshita!!", "Oppa jjang!!" Luckily I sat near local crowd with my friends. If I sat at Msian crowd, I would sit tightly(segan hahahahaha). I'm very happy that Korean men double won ^^

The players' entrance is really...really not a joke. I mean, they enter like some kind of awards ceremony. The photographers, the spotlight, the cheer are totally wow! Love the crowd, the spirit, everything la!

Lee Chong Wei was injured & unable to finish the match. Still, I'm very proud of him =) Not feeling wasted at all cause he did his best for his fans(he still got Olympics London, not worth to risk his condition). Feel sayu reading his tweet, "If u dare to win, u must dare to lose~" after the match ended. Even the Msian crowd feels sad, he as a badminton player himself is more sad than us.

I heard that he's already injured before the final but he still want to play for the final(probably don't want to disappoint his fans). A nice guy, he is.
